Hi, I’m Jules
I’m so glad you’re here. This is my portfolio, where education, mental health, and technology meet with intention—and maybe a little magic.
As an aspiring Educational Psychologist and EdTech researcher with a foundation in Early Childhood Education, I believe that learning is most impactful when it centers the whole child—emotionally, socially, and cognitively. My years of teaching young children taught me that students thrive in environments where they feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore. I see educators not just as transmitters of knowledge but as facilitators of curiosity, identity, and resilience. I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Counseling and Student Services with a focus on Child and Adolescent Mental Health, and my philosophy reflects a commitment to trauma-informed, inclusive practices that nurture every learner’s unique journey.
With a strong interest in virtual reality (VR) and immersive environments, I believe educational technology can be a powerful tool for equity, engagement, and emotional connection. Technology should not replace meaningful teaching, but rather enhance it—opening doors for students to experience learning in personalized, interactive, and culturally relevant ways. Whether it’s using VR to simulate natural settings for mindfulness or AI to support differentiated instruction, I advocate for tech that enriches the learning experience, supports mental health, and bridges gaps in access and understanding.
